Shipping & Returns

All orders within the continental U.S. are shipped via UPS.

When checking out, please select Standard (complimentary over $75), two (2) day, or overnight.

Most orders ship within 1-3 business days.  All items are handmade to order, so, depending on materials, please allow up to 7 business days for your order to be shipped.

Paying for expedited shipping does not guarantee that you will get your item in two days. It does, however, shorten the time your item will spend in transit. If you live south of KY and VA and east of the Mississippi river, it's generally not worth it to pay for expedited shipping unless you absolutely need a guarantee of the arrival date.  If you need something by a certain date, please contact us and we will do our absolute best to make it happen.

Returns and exchanges are free.  If you don't absolutely love your purchase, simply email us with the reason for the return and we’ll issue a return authorization number.  For details, please see the Shipping and Returns page!.

No, we do not ship to P.O. boxes.

Yes. For a flat rate of $30, we ship internationally via USPS.

UPS My Choice is a service provided by UPS which lets users decide when and where a package is delivered.

This service includes the ability to request a delivery time, change a delivery address and hold at a UPS ‘Access Point’ or ‘Will Call’ location. This feature helps deliveries to fit your schedule. Keep in mind, packages valued over $500 require a signature.

UPS Access Points are at various locations (including lockers) that are hand-selected based on reliability, location and ease of experience.

You can use a UPS My Choice membership to redirect packages to your preferred pickup location before or after our first delivery attempt. More details here.

Online Ordering

You can check your order status by clicking on the LOGIN link at the top of this page. If you don't have an account, you will still receive an email update with a tracking number when your order is shipped.

If you need to cancel an order you must email us within four (4) hours of when you place your order.  All of our pieces are handmade to order and once production begins they cannot be cancelled.

Your item is not guaranteed until you proceed to check out with your order. We do our best to maintain an up-to-date inventory, but during times of increased shopping traffic, inventory discrepancies do sometimes occur. If we are unable to fulfill your order in its entirety, you'll receive an email and we can resolve the issue together.

If you do not know your ring size, we recommend having your finger sized by a local jeweler. You can also order a ring sizer here and we will ship it to you complimentary.

Sales tax is only collected on orders shipped to addresses in Georgia.

We work hard to have a fair mark up on all of our items every day. We do not price anything with the intention of putting it on sale. So what you receive is fair and even pricing, year round.  With that said, we do offer our customers specials here and there so make sure to subscribe to our newsletter!

Repairs and Replacement

We take great pride in our work and craftsmanship. However, jewelry by its very nature is delicate and accidents do happen.

Please contact us if you need to discuss repairs of your jewelry- every situation is unique. We want you to love your purchase and we stand behind our quality.

Absolutely.  We will, however, need the one left behind in order to match it.  Contact our studio for return instructions.  The cost will be 50% of the current cost of the earrings, plus shipping.   We cannot guarantee replacement earrings for one-of-a-kind pairs or discontinued designs.

Cleaning and Care

We believe jewelry is meant to be worn every day, and pieces are made to last.  We do recommend taking off your jewelry when swimming, showering, gardening, doing contact sports, seriously messy cooking, and moving heavy objects.  Avoid exposing jewelry to shampoo or other beauty care products like hair spray, hair dyes, spray tan, lotions or perfumes.

To clean your natural gemstones, simply wipe them clean with a soft dry cloth. Do not immerse in harsh chemicals, or use ultrasonic cleaners.

Always remove your jewelry before using any product that contains bleach, denatured alcohol, turpentine, acetone or ammonia.  These can cause gold and other metals to breakdown leaving the metal irreparably damaged.  These chemicals can also dull or even pit the surface of druzy and other gemstones.

Store your jewelry in a safe place like a pouch, box or lined jewelry case.

With a little care, your Mickey Lynn will remain as sparkling and beautiful as the day we made it!

Materials and Production

We work with a variety of metals to complete our collections.

14K gold filled:  “Gold-filled” is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight.  It’s a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass resulting in a durable, high quality real gold product.

18K gold vermeil: How do you pronounce that!? We've got you: Ver - May.  Not to be confused with regular gold plating, vermeil is a much thicker layer of gold which gives pieces a long lasting gold finish. For a piece to be considered vermeil, the gold must be a minimum of 10k and 1.5 microns. We use 18k gold layered on sterling silver.

925 sterling silver: This is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.  This metal is meant to be worn everyday.  Once silver comes in contact with oxygen, it will oxidize and blacken.  We prefer this oxidized look to contrast with our rich gold pieces.

Bronze:  All of our hand carved clasps, beads and accents are cast in bronze.  Our proprietary alloy shines with a 14K gold color and has a high resistance to tarnish.

Each piece of our jewelry is made by hand in our Atlanta, Georgia studio by our talented team of artists.  To read more about our creative process, click here.

We’re constantly taking steps to improve our process so we can operate as sustainably as possible. We craft in small batches right here in our Atlanta workshop, partnering with local artisans and other family run businesses like our own who employ the same slow fashion, full circle ideology. Living an authentic life isn’t just a singular decision, but many that add up to make a difference.
