Famous for its metallic gold shine, pyrite has been highlighted in jewelry and other adornments since the time of the ancient Greeks. More recently, jewelers in the Victorian era prized pyrite for its almost mirror-like luster, and even used it in place of diamonds in pave settings. Due to its association with gold, pyrite has come to be known for bringing luck and protection to those who possess it. At Mickey Lynn, we love the earthy brilliance of this stone in its natural form, and use it to empower and balance a wide variety of designs.
In our sunny Atlanta studio, our unique designs are conceived and created by hand to make an impact. Our small team of local artists feels more like a family- we inspire one another, laugh often, and work together to make each piece unique. We’re committed to using natural materials to tell stories that are authentic- nature is never perfect, but it’s in this variation and unpredictability that we find our inspiration.
"It is not enough to create. Our process must be guided by intention: every outcome considered, each impact weighed, until the result is both a physical and spiritual representation of what is in our hearts."
We believe in the value of finding and following your passion. In 2006, we took the plunge to form this community of creativity. Mickey Lynn is a place where we can be ourselves, we can create something new every day, and, best of all, we can share our inspiration with the world through original designs and genuine connections.
When you shop small, you support your local economy and create jobs that help us to pay it forward. But your impact extends even further when you support a company that shares your values. At Mickey Lynn, we strive to make every step of our process something we can be proud of. From responsible stone sourcing to supporting fair labor standards, we know that living an authentic life isn’t just a singular decision, but hundreds of choices that add up to make a difference.
Mickey Lynn bracelets are crafted for maximum style and comfort for every wrist. If you are on the cusp between two sizes, you may select the smaller size for a tighter fit, or larger size for a looser fit, depending on your preference.
Measuring your wrist
Use a tape measure or find a strip of paper, ribbon, or cord. Wrap it around your wrist where you would normally wear the bracelet. If you are using a strip of paper, ribbon, or cord, mark the end of the strip and then measure the length against a ruler. This is your wrist size.
